Primary vs. Secondary Ticketing Explained
Understanding ticket market terminology ensures you always make informed decisions when securing event passes:
| Ticket Category | Typical Providers | Pricing Structure | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primary Box Office | Ticketmaster, AXS, Venue Box Offices | Face value pricing set by promoters and artists. | Early access presales, general onsales, face value seating. |
| Verified Resale Exchanges | StubHub, TicketNetwork, viagogo | Market-driven dynamic pricing; may be above or below face value. | Sold-out stadium shows, premium floor seats, last-minute tickets. |
Pricing Transparency & Surcharges
Ticket prices and seat availability fluctuate dynamically based on demand. TourAndTunes does not set prices, add surcharges, or process payments. All ticket purchases are subject to the terms, refund policies, and delivery guarantees of the respective ticketing provider you select.
